X-ING - Crossing the Universe [CD]

X-INGs music choices have always been a mix of different trends and styles of modern Rock music. Melodic Progressive Rock is probably the best way to describe their music, because there is influence of the creative and powerful Rock of FAITH NO MORE as well as delicate melodic lines as known of MARILLON and early GENESIS. The band has spent the past 4 years writing songs for their new album ‘Crossing the Universe’ which now includes 14 incredible songs, which are an appropriate continuation to the in 2006 released ‘INDEPENDENCE’ album. Songs with addictive vocal lines get supported by fully developed arrangements and eligible musical dynamic. All these things characterize the sound of X-ING and its new full length album ‘Crossing the Universe’. Bandleader and songwriter Umberto Carretti formed the band in 1988.
