APHONIC THRENODY is a new Anglo-Italian funeral doom project born of the hands of musicians permanently or previously involved in bands like URNA, PANTHEIST, GALLOW GOD, LEECHER, and as sessions in the hyped collective CRIPPLED BLACK PHOENIX. Their doom metal is a rather classic slow paced musical procession in the vein of Esoteric or Evoken , just to name a few concrete examples. Their debut “First Funeral” came with a ghost bonus track.
