DRAUGGARD is a Russian-Austrian black metal band. “WyrdWeorc” is their second full-length recorded at SoundPole studio in Berlin and mixed/mastered by Ilias Papadakis at White Planet Studios, Athens/Greece. The lyrics refers to the old Norse mythology. Draugr (singular) or Draugar (plural) is an Icelandic word for an undead entity that is haunting back from time to time afterlife to accomplish what it could not complete during its lifetime. The band shared stage with ENSLAVED, MARDUK, ROTTING CHRIST, RAGNAROK, BELPHEGOR, etc., and toured with DIABOLICAL (Sweden), HELLSAW (Austria), and NECROMICON (Germany) among others. The album comes with a 16 page booklet with an outstanding cover artwork hand-painted by Costin Chioreanu (ENSLAVED, MAYHEM, EINHERJER).
