Idolatry - Visions from the Throne of Eyes [CD]

Pure ancient Black Metal in the vein of Gorgoroth with a definite nod to the cult French scene. Coming from Canada, it is no surprise that they might incorporate some of that classic, nasty French sound. This is truly an album for those who enjoy their blasphemies cold, raw, and arrogant. Vocalist Lord Matzigkeitus believes this to be a Black Metal album comparable to nothing, the best thing you’re going to hear. It is rather good, though I might take issue with ol’ Matzigkeitus’ opinion, but this is a slab of raging Black Metal that I think all fans of the old style will love.
