Amerikanska Botanist debutalbum "I: The Suicide Tree / II: A Rose from the Dead" på tUMULt (Draugar, Eikenskaden, Leviathan) förra året, hyllades världen runt med sin mästerliga Black Metal. När året skulle sammanfattas av metalpressen så hyllades man med hela 10 topp-placeringar på best-of-2011 listor i nämnvärda tidningar som t.ex. NPR, MetalSucks, Pitchfork och Metal Injection. Nu är man tillbaka med ett nytt välgjort album. Det levereras dessutom med en bonus-cd med covers och tribute-låtar utförda av Botanist-allierade band.
